A lighthouse the middle of space shines, as if searching incessantly for someone.

Making use of old motor parts, a microcontroller board and some more discarded material, I create two small machines that rotate on their own axis. The first one is a light rotating slowly left to right slowly as if it were a lighthouse. In front of it is the second machine, which is a mirror rotating vertically that with the phrase "to die on the shore" written on it. The moment the light meets the mirror, the phrase appears projected on the floor, moving towards and away from the spectator's feet, like seawaves on the beach.

Un faro en medio del espacio alumbra, parece que buscara incesantemente a alguien.

Reciclando piezas viejas de motor, una placa de microcontrolador y algo más de material descartado, creo dos pequeñas máquinas que giran sobre su propio eje. La primera alumbra el espacio lentamente a manera de faro. Cerca se encuentra la segunda máquina giratoria y cuenta con un espejo que tiene la frase “morir en la orilla”. En el momento en que ambas se apuntan la una a la otra, aparece en el piso abarcando entre 1.5 y 3 m del espacio, la anterior frase yendo y viniendo, llegando a los pies del espectador el pequeño mensaje como la espuma que dejan las olas del mar.
